Lately I’ve been noticing a huge trend in style blogs and decorating catalogues where they are using books more for props. It looks great visually and helps the home styled look more well-read, giving the owner more depth than just a great house (oh look, she reads great books too!)
That is why I am obsessed with these books sold at Anthropologie!
|Seriously guys, this is too cute|
Penguin Classic has teamed up with Mr. Boddington’s – a chic luxury stationer to design coffee table and nightstand worthy book covers of those classics some of us love but all remember.
|Imagine: Stacked on a night stand with a figurine on top|
I’m a big reader (Matt can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve kept him awake with a light while I read ‘just one more page!’), so I want to use that as an excuse to buy these, but the $17.99 price tag makes me wary.
What do you think? Would you pay more for a classic just because the cover is now updated and cute?
