Our Dogs Are Bad

July 20, 2013

Having two dogs is nice because it means 2x the love, and now we have a dog that will actually cuddle (Moose).

Having two dogs is not nice when one is spoiled rotten (Sasha) and one is rowdy and doesn’t behave (Moose).

Lately we’ve been experiencing doggy pandemonium. They have turned a raised gardening bed into a digging spot. They won’t get off the couches. Moose keeps sitting in their water bowl in the house (when really, its a big house and such a small water bowl I don’t see how this isn’t happening intentionally).

So, Moose will be going to obedience school! She will be attending PetSmart’s obedience classes so we can hopefully learn how to control random barking, remove them from the couch, get notices when they have to pee, and most importantly: learn her own name.

In the meantime, they’re both so adorable it makes it hard for me to enforce them, so Matt is usually the bad guy. Haha, the dogs only love me more now.IMG_2672

My in-laws ended up putting an electric fence around their garden to keep their dog out!

Jack said that Matt will get his revenge when you to have kids and then you will be the bad guy, if he is smart. Snowy was digging in the yard and in the flower beds. He has out grown that now.

Lilly went to doggy class at petsmart too!! She learned how to sit, and you know what an exceptional sitter she now is. In fact, during her sitting lesson she figured out if she sat she got a treat, so she followed the instructor around to each of the other puppies and sat obediently whenever the instructor said “sit” and looked expectantly for her treat. Stay was never her strong skill.
